A behind the scenes look at how I work with my couples

When working with my couples, I like to start with a free one-to-one consultation to really get to know them. I ask several questions to get a feel for the theme of the wedding and also an idea of which items the couple would like to order. Using the information from the meeting, I create a quote to send over. This usually has everything in so as to get an idea of the price, but can be paired down later or have other items added before creating the final quote.

If you still have questions at this point, I’m always there to answer my emails, and we can jump onto another call to make sure that you have no worries moving forward. When everything has been decided, I’ll create an invoice and send that over with my contract. From this point, payment is needed before I start working on the designs.

Once I’ve started designing, I create three rough sketches which are sent to the couple to look over. They will then write comments on the designs about the parts of the designs they like the most and the least. From there, I’ll create new designs based on the feedback. This means that we work together, fine tuning all the small details until the couple have exactly what they were looking for. This is all done in three rounds of design proofs.

As soon as the final design has been created for each of the parts of the invitation suites, the invitations can be sent to print! This is where things get really exciting as you have something physical that you can see and touch.

I’ll assemble the invitations for you, making sure that all the different parts are in each envelope, ready to be shipped. Throughout the whole process, I’m with you every step of the way, always ready to help and answer any questions.

I like to have a close relationship with the couples I work with as I love to meet new people and hear their stories. Your wedding is such a personal time, and it makes sense to have a connection to your vendors who you can trust.
