de Havilland Memories is primarily a wedding stationery company, brought to you by me, Florrie Warrener, trained as a mechanical engineer, I've spent most of my working life in the space sector. I've been the manager organising tests for satellites and their components, and even working on exciting projects including rockets. My passion has always been to create, and when I started learning calligraphy, everything clicked into place when I realised that I could design wedding invitations, combining two of my biggest passions.

The woman behind the website

After some time off from work, I had the idea to set up de Havilland Memories. The name is derived from my mother's maiden name, de Havilland. The de Havilland family is well known in many different areas of life. Perhaps the two best known members are Olivia de Havilland, a famous actress who sadly passed away in 2020, best known for her role in Gone with the Wind, and Sir Geoffery de Havilland, an aircraft engineer who created the de Havilland Mosquito and de Havilland Comet.

I chose apple blossom as the theme of my company as my grandparents on my father's side had an 8-acre apple orchard in Kent. I enjoyed most of my weekends growing up, playing amongst the trees. It's a beautiful and significant way to tie both sides of my family together and remember each of my grandparents whilst I create and build my business.
